Frequently Asked Questions

What is Faith Kitchen?

Faith Kitchen is a 501c3 public charity, a soup kitchen that operates upstairs in Trinity Lutheran Church. We are open Monday through Saturday from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm. We have 200+ volunteers from over 25 organizations that prepare a great meal each day.

Can I drop off food?

Faith Kitchen is classified as a restaurant and must follow food safety and health guidelines therefore it is difficult for us to accept previously prepared food. All food used at Faith kitchen must be prepared in a certified kitchen.

Who are your volunteers?

We are blessed to have many dedicated volunteers who have been providing food and services day after day, month after month, year after year. Our operating model is a regular rotation of volunteers from this set group of organizations/companies. Since we operate in this group rotation, we do not seek out individual volunteers. If you happen to attend any of these faith groups listed below, please feel free to reach out to the group at your faith organization to find out about volunteering with them.
